The Rohingyas living in India have attracted the attention of the international community to return to their homeland

Rohingya refugees displaced from their ancestral homeland in the face of killing, rape and persecution by the Myanmar military and AA Arakan Army, drawn the attention of the international community to return home. After 7 years of the Rohingya’s descent, the Rohingyas held a rally in the Nuh district of the state of Haryana from Sunday morning to noon, demanding return to their homeland Myanmar.The rally was held at Nangli-5 refugees camp in Nuh district, Haryana, India, to commemorate the repatriation and August 25. In this regard, the Rohingya leaders demanded their citizenship, security,and safety return to their homeland Myanmar to be taken back to Myanmar with dignity. Rohingya students and men and women are gathered at the playground of Nangli-5 Rohingya refugees camp with banners and festoons from Sunday morning. Then they chanted ‘stop the genocide in Myanmar, stop the genocide in Myanmar.

The rally called for an end to all violence and attacks on the Rohingyas in Rakhine State, the repatriation of the Rohingyas in refugee camps, the creation of opportunities for the Rohingyas to live in Rakhine under the supervision of the United Nations, and the accountability of the Junta and the Arakan Army to the international community.

Rohingya leader Noorul Alam said in the rally, we are guests of this country. But 4 decades have passed, not anymore. We should go back to our homeland now. It is time to unite and make a decision. Rohingyas will not exist if they go to other countries without going to Myanmar.

Rohingya leader Ali Zohar said, we don’t know when we can return to our country. On August 25, we are having a meeting at the camp on the occasion of seventh years anniversary. Through this gathering, we want to inform the world that the Rohingya people can return to their homeland by putting pressure on Myanmar.

Secretary of Rohingya Child Development Association (RCDA) Mohammad Arif said, request to the international community to send a large number of these Rohingyas back to their homeland by putting pressure on Myanmar by any means.

Note: The 7th Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day was organized by the Rohingya Child Development Association (RCDA).

Shababul Hasan, in charge of Action Aid, an NGO working with Rohingya refugees, community leaders Noorul Alam, Hafez Rafiq, Jani Alam, Mohammad Shafiq, Ansharul Haque and Anish were present.

Ali Zohar, Sadiq Khan, Mohammad Arif, Abu Tayub, Amir Hossain, Kaiser, Mohammad Hasan, Zahid Hossain and Qari Osman were present on behalf of RCDA.
