The Arakan Army (AA) has ordered the immediate evacuation of villagers in Buthidang Township, Arakan State, Myanmar.

Several villagers of the township said that this order was given yesterday on March 15, 2024.

Mohammad Ali, a resident of Buthidang Township, said the Rohingya News, “Yesterday, (15 March 2024) when I went to the market for some goods, a group of Arakan Army (AA) members were telling the villagers to leave the village within the next 3 to 4 days.

Several other villagers in Buthidang Township, are fearing where they will go after getting the message from AA.
